Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP)
Working with EFNEP Camden County through the Rutgers Cooperative Extension enhanced my skills in brand cohesion, brand voice, and creating engaging posts for our community.
In the 2024-25 academic year we saw massive social media growth through our campaigns, including 266% increased reach with over 2.8k views through organic growth.
Below are some of the campaigns and graphics that helped us to achieve this growth, highlighting my design and branding skills.
The Camden County EFNEP Nutrition Stars campaign was created to celebrate the educators and partner sites that helped make our nutrition programming possible. Through a series of eight spotlight posts, we recognized teachers and community partners whose dedication supported EFNEP’s mission and strengthened our reach across Camden County. This targeted social media effort highlighted the people behind the work, reinforced community relationships, and helped increase visibility for the program as participation and partnerships continued to grow.
In late winter and spring of 2026, I developed a social media campaign focused on translating EFNEP-approved recipe resources into engaging, accessible digital content for our community. The campaign highlighted low-cost, practical recipes in a clean and cohesive visual format designed to support families seeking healthier meal options.
Because the work existed within a federally supported nutrition program, content development required careful coordination across multiple standards and stakeholders. Designs were created within Rutgers University branding requirements, aligned with EFNEP visual identity and messaging, and developed in accordance with NIFA guidelines. To maintain program integrity, all recipes originated from approved EFNEP curriculum materials, ensuring every post remained both educationally accurate and program compliant while still feeling approachable and engaging on social media.
